Köppen climate type:
Vein-type tungsten deposit, mined from 1916 to 1957.
The paragenesis of the vein mineralogy has been divided into three stages as determined from mineral growth patterns, i.e., as mutual intergrowths, inclusions, replacements, vein selvages, vein and fracture fillings etc.: 1) an early oxide-silicate stage; 2) sulphide stage; and 3) late vein stage. Underground resource (Indicated + Inferred) is 266,000 tons grading 1.44% WO3 and 0.3% MoS2; the calculated open pit resource (Inferred+ Indicated) is 737,000 tons grading 0.44% WO3 and 0.02% MoS2.
