Flannigan Mine; Columbia Mine

A lead-zinc mine in a valley 1 mile to the east of Red Top Mountain. Mineralization consisted of low grade sulfides disseminated in an intraformational limestone breccia. It was developed by around 2500' of workings and 5000' of diamond drilling. A mineral resource of 640,000 tons at 3.02% Zn and 0.88% Pb was blocked out for the site. A small amount of ore was produced in 1917 and 1928. An additional 2898 tons were produced in 1950. Mills (1977) reports around 28,000 lbs Pb, 97,000 lbs Zn, and 95 oz Ag being produced
