This mine is located on Martha Creek, near the headwaters of Rattlesnake Creek
It worked mineralization in a 2' shear zone in andesite
Developments include 3 adits, one 50' and one 10', also a shaft and an opencut.
Structure: N40w-Trending Shear Zone
Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc
Deposit: Breccia cemented by calcite and ore minerals within shear zone. The ore minerals are found in small local shoots lat. & long. Are general ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: Claims are in yakima watershed, where mining has been curtailed
Geology: Most of area is covered by glacial debris. Geologic map shows most of area underlain by ohanapecosh formation
