Grury is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France.

The mining district of Grury (which is larger than just the commune!) is, with the mining districts of Château-Chinon and Autun, one of the three uranium mining zones of the Morvan region, in La Division du Forez/Grury (with the mine of Bois-Noirs at Saint-Priest-la-Prugne, Loire).

The district of Grury contains more than ten mines which are estimated to have supplied in total more than 1000 tons of uranium metal. These are:
- le Batou, commune of Issy-l'Évèque, operated from 1953 to 1954 underground;
- le Bauzot, commune of Issy-l'Évèque, operated from 1950 to 1986 in underground mines and an open pit;
- Broaille, commune of Issy-l'Évèque, operated from 1949 to 1953 in underground mines and an open pit;
- les Oudots, commune of Issy-l'Évèque, operated from 1980 to 1982 in three open pits;
- Wood of Nialin (or of Mégine), commune of Suin, exploited from 1978 to 1979 in an open pit;
- les Brosses, commune of Neuvy-Grandchamps, operated from 1955 to 1986 in underground mines and an open pit;
- les Gaulins, commune of Neuvy-Grandchamps, exploited in 1953 underground;
- le Cartelet, municipality of Grury, operated from 1981 to 1989 in an open pit;
- la Faye, municipality of Grury, operated from 1947 to 1984 in underground mines and seven open pits;
- les Jacquots, municipality of Grury, operated from 1981 to 1990 in underground mines and two open pits;
- les Jalerys, municipality of Grury, operated from 1954 to 1989 in underground mines and two open pits;
- le Rompey, municipality of Grury, operated from 1982 to 1989 in underground mines and an open pit;
- Vernays, municipality of Grury, operated from 1950 to 1981 in underground mines and an open pit;
- Mazille, commune of Sivignon, operated from 1978 to 1979 in an open pit;

Additionally, mining research work was carried out at various other towns:
Uxeau (le Chevalot, before 1962); Issy-l'Évèque (La Croix; Montgillard, 1950-1951; Usages, 1951); Grury (Valletta, 1950).

The Gueugnon treatment plant (Saône-et-Loire) was used for dynamic treatment and static leaching from 1955 to 1980.

This deposit is housed in the Luzy batholith and is made up of a vein network 600m long, 150m wide and 200m deep. The minerals found there include:
autunite, billietite, carnotite, coffinite, dewindtite, ianthinite, kasolite, magnesiumzippèite, novacekite, parsonsite, phosphuranylite, torbernite, thorite, uraninite, uranocircite, uranophane, uranopilite, vochtenite, and wölsendorfite.

It also has many secondary minerals too.
