A copper mine owned by ICC (Indian Copper Co.). This mine has a capacity of 1 million tons/year ore.
Produces uranium as a by-product.

In the Mosaboni mine, operated by the Indian Copper Corporation Ltd., two roughly parallel lode zones dipping ENE are worked over a strike length of about 3 miles and to a depth of about 2,700 feet. In the early period of mining these lode zones were named West Lode and Main Lode. Later work has proved that the West Lode is richer and more persistent than the Main Lode, which pinched out near the 18th level (about 2,000 feet below surface) in the main shaft section of this mine. In this section, the distance of separation of the two lodes gradually diminishes with depth and they become almost parallel to each other near the 15th level. The average distance between the lodes is about 80 feet and they are generally 6 to'8 feet in width. Both the lodes are confined within the soda-granites and highly feldspathic schists. Three different types of sulfide ores are generally present within the lode zones, namely massive ore, braided ore, and disseminated ore. Massive ores have been formed by closely spaced veins, pockets, and lenses. In places the original structural controls are obliterated by ore. Braided ores are present where mineralization was controlled by closely spaced S• and Sa planes. In this type of ore, the feeder channels along the structural planes are preserved. Disseminated ores generally occur within sheared epidiorites and feldspathic schists away from the main lode zones.

Located about 6 miles from Moubhandar.
