Location: This occurrence is at an elevation of about 4,300 feet on the north flank of a ridge about one mile northeast of of Long Lake . It is in the NE1/4NE1/4, section 17, T. 12 N., R. 7 E., Copper River Meridian.
Geology: A gold-bearing vein was reported at this occurrence by WGM Inc. (1980, fig. 3). The country rock is a coarse-grained porphyritic, quartz monzonite phase of the Pennsylvanian to Permian, Ahtell pluton.
Workings: Only exposed in outcrop.
Age: Emplaced subseqent to or is related to the border phase of the Pennsylvanian to Permian, Ahtell pluton.
