Minerals produced in metamorphic contact rocks.
Outcrop of hornfels produced by metamorphic contact of an intrusion of Gabro and Devonian limestones.
In this outcrop it´s characteristic the presence of Vesuvianite as microcrystalline masses greenish color in the variety known as Californite.Hibschite-variety grossular garnet is also present. In some cases, this garnet forms small, pale blue aggregates, a coloration that is exceptionally rare among garnets.
