Köppen climate type:
Historical iron deposit (1838-1852).
A historical site of corundum, Andalusite and kyanite. In the place of historical mining of iron ores and occurrences of the above-mentioned minerals, there was a contact of the Šumperk granite massif with bodies of clayey shales and phyllites rich in Al. The historical mining of iron ore took place in the years 1838-1852. The last significant finds come from the years before 1974, after that date this locality is built up with family houses and gardens. Thus, the possibility of new findings is almost zero.
