A tungsten-bismuth-molybdenum mine worked since 1947 by Korea Tungsten Mining Co., Ltd. Produced 2,350 tons of ore per day @ 0.52% WO3 (600 tons of scheelite), 126 tons Bi, with minor tin, gold, silver and copper. Closed in 1992. Veins are related to skarn and breccia cutting the Pungchon limestone, Myobong slate and Jangsan quartzite.
The mine closed in 1994 and reopened 2025.
