An old lead mine, located just east of St Columb Porth, which is thought to have worked NW-trending lodes. The sett was largely located on the south side of the valley, but has been almost completely built over. The grid reference marks the site where five of the lodes are indicated on an old map of the East Wheal Rose Mining District.
