A chloritoid occurrence located in the SW¼NW¼ sec. 17 (projected), T29S, R39E, MDM, 2 to 2½ miles NW of Garlock, along Mesquite Canyon.

NOTE: The area of this occurrence is not surveyed, thus T&R values have to be projected. The references states a T&R value of R25E. This is in gross error. The range value for the Garlock area is R39E. Using this corrected T&R value, the locality is situated as described relative to Garlock.
