A small lead and silver mine on the southwest slope of Crow Hill, worked intermittently from 1852 until 1869. In the latter year, a crosscut was driven to connect with the workings of Wheal Louise. In 1910, Crowhill Mine was re-opened and raised a small amount of ore reputed to contain uranium. In 1913, it was explored again, but the results are not known.
Spargo, in 1865, lists the mine as New Crow Hill Mine. According to Dines and Hamilton Jenkin, Trevanion Mine, which was mentioned by Boase in 1838, and which produced some copper ore in 1841, was either an earlier working of Crowhill Mine or refers to a small working on the western extension of the lodes across the river Fal.
