Schacht Neue Bäuerin (Schacht 33b), Bäuerin Fundgrube (Schacht 33), Annaberg-Buchholz, Erzgebirgskreis, Sachsen, Deutschland

This shaft was sunk between 1948 and 1950 to a depth of 243 m below surface, when the Bäuerin Mine was reworked for uranium.

Be carefully - The Neue Bäuerin Shaft is NOT Wismut Shaft 33b, but Wismut Shaft 78 (also known als Shaft Nowaja); Shaft 33b ist rather unknown, the wikipedia article Number of the Wismut shafts calls Shaft 33b Bäuerin II).
As everywhere in Frohnau it ist very important to know the veins name as the SDAG Wismut often renamed further old mines.
