An old silver and cobalt mine, first worked in the 16th century. It was restarted in 1793 and worked until 1860.

The mine worked on the following veins:
- Bernhard Morgengang
- Schützen Hoffnung Flacher
- Sonnenwirbler Morgengang

The workings include the Sonnenwirbel and Alter Segen Gottes adits, but not the Sonnenwirbel deep adit (Tiefer Sonnenwirbel Stolln), which was worked independently.
