An old silver mine, worked during the 18th and 19th centuries. The workings comprised an upper adit and a deep adit. This mine is probably identical with the St Johannes Mine (St Johannes Fundgrube), which is recorded as having worked in the municipality of Hermannsdorf from 1669 until 1774, and as having produced 8 cwt. of black tin.
The mine worked on the following veins:
- Johannes Freude Morgengang
- Neue Gewerken Glück Morgengang
- St Johannes Morgengang (Alter St Johannes Morgengang)
The latter vein was also opened up on the opposite side of the valley (in the municipality of Hermannsdorf) by the Alter Johannes adit (Alter Johannes Stolln), which formed part of the Gesegnete Gesellschaft sett.
