Naumanns Hoffnung Stolln (Silberschnur Stolln), Sehma, Sehmatal, Revier Annaberg, Erzgebirge, Sachsen, Deutschland
A trial on a 16th century working, dating back to 1866. Although the concession was held until 1898, it never started mining. The portal of the adit was covered with debris when the railway line along the Sehma valley was constructed. The 16th century working is probably identical with the Silberschnur adit, which is recorded as having been started as a silver mine in 1541. On Oeder's map of Saxony, dated 1586-1607, this mine is indicated at the same location as the more recent working.
