An old silver mine, first documented in 1762 but probably started in the 16th century. During the early 18th century, it was only worked sporadically and at a small scale. From 1780 until 1795, it was continuously worked, but the veins were poorly mineralized and the amounts of ore raised did not pay the cost for operating the mine. In 1808, it was finally abandoned.
