An occurrence of auriferous quartz veins hosted by Birimian metabasalts and metavolcanosediments. The site was originally discovered in 1995 during a regional stream sediment survey. The original panning concentrate contained 71 gold flakes, hence the name of the prospect. Soon afterward, the site was invaded by hundreds of local gold diggers. They follow a series of at least 8, subparallel, subvertical, narrow auriferous quartz veins. The average gold grade locally reaches 1,000 g/t or more than 30 ounces per ton.
