Adam Heber Fundgrube (Schacht 43), Neustädtel, Revier Schneeberg, Erzgebirge, Sachsen, Deutschland

This pit was awarded to Adam Heber in 1570 (transfer of mining rights). From 1578 to 1582 silver was found in abundance.

Cobalt mining came to the foreground from 1654 and only ended in the second half of the 19th century.

In 1843 the Adam Heber mine was combined with Siebenschlehen ( https://www.mindat.org/loc-13574.html ). As shaft 43 of SAG Wismut, the pit was again in operation for uranium ore.

The shaft, with an incline between 45 and 85°, is secured by walling with overhanging arches from the 18th century and is still well-preserved.
