An outcrop on a power line between Rang 4e and Rand Cote.
Stratiform and some veins in the Bennet schist near its contact with the Oak Hill formation have been prospected for copper, gold, molybdenum in this municipality. The Bennet schist and Oak Hill formation are sediments believed to be Cambrian in origin, but metamorphosed. This outcrop was exposed at the top of a hill by an ATV path. Possibly was prospected before. Numerous prospects were noted on the Quebec Government Map noted below. Malachite and other copper minerals appear in quartz veins in a metamorphosed schist containing biotite.
