Name(s) in local language(s):
Maurizizeche (Maurizius-Zeche; Mauritiuszeche; St. Maurizius-Schacht; Beerische Zeche; Grube Mauritius)
Tin mine (the largest one in the Bohemian Erzgebirge, dating back to the 16th century.
Abandoned in 1924; in 1930 and 1938 attempts to restart mining; completely abandoned in 1945.
Annual production 60 t, ore sent to England for processing.
The mine was originally called Beerische Zeche; it was later renamed St. Maurizius-Schacht during the Counter-Reformation.
A tourist mine since May 2015 - Důl Mauritius (in German: Grube Mauritius), the Christoph adit (in German: Christoph Stolln) is accessible.
Located close to Hřebečná (Hengstererben).
Most of the minerals listed come from dumps of the Mauritius mine. Note on "annivite": it is Zn-dominant (the new species annivite-(Zn) was approved later and published by Sejkora et al., 2025).
