This is the locality for big pure blocks of satin spar gypsum for Morocco is known. The locality is near the town of Enjil near the headwaters of the Moulouya River. Every year a number of container loads of this gypsum is exported to various countries for lapidary purposes as well as manufactured into various small items for export, like candle holders, bookends, balls, eggs etc. It occurs as white and orange varieties. This information was obtained from one of the importers.
