Former siderite mine, 4.7 km SE of Wegscheid, S of Niederalpl, between Gleißenriegel and Trogerhirschl, located at approx. N47.66056 E15.37351, elev. 1'100 m.
It comprised the Karolinenstollen, 200 m long and the Unterbaustollen, ~ 5 m long.
It was worked in the 19th century. For example, in 1857 approx. 525 metric tons were shipped.
Ore from this mine (like the one from Solln, Niederalpl, Sommerhalt and Scheiklalpe) was shipped to the blast furnace, Marienhütte, in Aschbach.
