A small tin mine on the south bank of the Tamar river, just West of its junction with Greenscombe brook, which was worked earlier under the name West Clitters Mine.
The sett contains an ENE-trending lode, which is intersected by two NW-trending crosscourses. The workings include a shaft and an adit that commences in the valley about 20 feet above river level and connects to the shaft at 40 fms below surface.
The only recorded output is for 2 cwt. of black tin raised in 1873.
The site is largely overgrown but one can still see some tin buddles, a large stack with a walled open shaft at his base, a large water wheel pit and other unidentifiable ruins.
