A hill mainly composed of gabbroic rocks of Birimian age. Over an area of approximately 0.4 km² gold is found as small nuggets at the surface. Local women dry pan the lateritic lag for gold. Rarely, mm-sized perfect gold octahedrons can be observed. The primary gold mineralization is hosted by subvertical, narrow, shear zone related auriferous quartz veins in the gabbro.
