An old shallow exploration shaft was put down on a vein that varies from 1 to 2.5 inches in width with a strike of N62°E. It is hosted by a coarse-grained diabase showing some reddish granophyric interstices of quartz and feldspar.The vein carries disseminated smaltite, niccolite, skutterudite and some native silver.
