Wadi Abu Rusheid

Abu Rusheid pegmatites are found as small and large bodies that occur as simple and complex (zoned) pegmatites.
Abu Rusheid beryl deposits occur at the contact between the ophiolitic mélange and both orthogneiss (granitic gneiss) and biotite granites. They are mainly found as disseminated crystals in pegmatite-related quartz veins, pegmatite veins, and granitic pegmatite, but are rarely found in phlogopite schists.
