A small abandoned lead-silver mine situated 11 km north of Mambanje Siding. It is believed that the earliest activity was smelting of outcrop galena to make bullets during the Matabele Rebellion (1896/1897). Between 1949 and 1970 the recorded output of galena concentrate was 180 tonnes.

The mineralization occurs in a series of vuggy and brecciated quartz veins in a shear zone about 800m wide which has been traced for several kilometres. The sheared and altered host rocks are garnetiferous biotite schists and migmatic gneisses containing narrow resistant bands of siliceous and calc-silicate rocks.

The main ore is argentiferous galena and the ore is said to contain roughly one ounce of silver per one percent of lead.
