Mafraito: http://www.mindat.org/photo-367241.html
... o nome evoca, erradamente, Mafra.
- Mafraíto is a rock whose name wrongly evokes Mafra, a village in the Lisbon district. This rock is more exactly from the Touro River, in the Sintra mountain, and the confusion results from the exchange of specimens between Paul Choffat and Alfred Lacroix.
The mafraíto is a gross granular rock (plutonite) in the family of the gabbros and 'teralitos', with phenocrystals of amphibole (kaersutite and barkevicite), violet-titanaugite and labradorite. It also contains in smaller percentages, biotite, fibrous green hornblende, 'esfena' and magnetite. Described by Lacroix in 1920.
