Köppen climate type:
Discovered by A.J. Carlisle within a distinct small impact crater. Only two small chips found. W. Cleverly from the reference also found one australite within the crater and several nearby, suggesting he states the impact is several thousand years old.
The stone is purplish grey. Olivine is dominant as aggregates within orthopyroxene and lamellar pigeonite. There is also rare minute grains of untwinned plagioclase. The fragments contain 15% nickel iron and troilite. The chondrules are clearly defined in an uneven granoblastic mass of grains which come as 0.4 or 0.02mm across.
It is a recrystallised olivine-hypersthene chondrite and is housed in the Western Australian Museum, No 12799 (thin section only). The main masses are in the School of Mines, Kalgoorlie, No.s 9962 and 9963.
