The city of Tinghir (also spelled Tineghir and Tinerhir) is located at the intersection of Highway N10 and route 703 at 31°30′53″N, 5°31′58″W, about 145 km NE of the city of Ouarzazate, in the new Province of Tinghir (established in 2009). Oum Laab is reported to be in the Todgha Valley along the route from Tinghir to Erfoud (almost due east).
Note that Tighir is a different city located at 32°13′N and 05°38′W.
