Beside the occurrence of uranium minerals in Permian acid metavulcanites (Rachino & Rachino, 1999; Piccoli et al., 2007), the presence of hyalin quartz crystals in the municipal territory of Boves was reported by Jervis (1873). Furthermore, pectolite has been recently found in an erratic along the Colla streambed.
