Copper and gold enriched massive sulfide deposit known from cores located northeast of Gilman (Sec 2 T32N R2W). About 100-120 feet of glacial sediments cover the deposit, which was discovered in 1985 based in exploring a surveyed electromagnetic anomaly. The deposit consists of a massive sulfide lenses with a stockwork-stringer zone. Those occur associated with a felsic volcanic zone associated with a back arc basin. This was severely deformed and metamorphosed during the 1.8 billion year old Penokean Orogeny.
