This particular area is characterized by tectonic contact between argillitic Cretaceous rocks and metamorphic limestones. In this context, we have the occurrence of some mineralizations of iron minerals and copper minerals. Copper minerals are principally represented by chalcopyrite. This mineral was analyzed by a laboratory which yielded an interesting percentage of gold mixed with chalcopyrite.
