Name(s) in local language(s):
Herja (Herzsa), Chiuzbaia (Kisbánya)

Geographically, the Herja mine belongs to Baia Mare, but old specimens from the Herja mine are usually (incorrectly) labelled as coming from Chiuzbaia (Kisbánya), a small village 7 km ENE of Baia Mare.

This old mine has been producing some of the world's finest, well-crystallised stibnite specimens for over a century.

According to Cook and Damian (1997), all the lead antimony sulphosalts are As-free.
