Pianazze di Pradovera, Val Perino, Val Trebbia, Provincia di Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna, Italia
Lizardite, as spherical aggregates of lustrous trigonal crystals (lizardite-1T), in serpentinite.
The mineral site (Coli municipality) is located for only few tens of metres in Val Perino (a side valley of the Trebbia Valley), on the est slope of the ridge that joins Passo di Santa Barbara and Sella dei Generali, in the area of Pianezze di Pradovera.
Note: the little depression of Pianazze di Pradovera is a well-known archaeological site, where near the peatlands, originated from an ancient glacial lake delimited by a still evident moraine, thousands of Mesolithic artifacts have been found.
