Information was found for mining at this location from 1936 to 1941. It is near the Yalgoo- Fields Find Road, directly north-west of its intersection with the Badja Station Road. Over several acres are some trenches and mullock piles. Crushings are reported about every 6 months across the period.

It appears mining started around 1936 by J.L. Nevill and M.H. Kennedy. Nevill crops up alot across mining in the Yalgoo region in the early 20th century.

In 1937 the Goldfields Australian Development Company Ltd held options over Blaney's and nearby Gnows Nest Mine. However this activity lasted less than 1 year with the option relinquished in January 1938.

Reports of crushings continue on a semi regular basis, but who is undertaking the activity is not mentioned. The last found was in September 1941, 45 tonnes at 22.06 oz and 10 tonnes at 3.09 oz went to the battery. Over the entire period about 1000 tonnes was mined for 1000 oz ranging from 5 to 18 dwt.
