All the names in the title are separate mines/deposits, but all neighbour the main Agamenon pit and share the same geology. For Mindat purposes they have been included together. The mines are found on Delta Island, an intensely mined, with complex geology small piece of land, half-way between Kambalda to the Lefroy Mill, and surrounded by the Lake Lefroy salt-pan.

Gold is found in partly weathered Devons Consols Basalt, felsic/intermediate intrusive units, and further minor gold in Kapai Slate and Paringa basalt. The main controlling factor at South Agamenon is a moderately east dipping, and shallow north plunging contact between a felsic intrusive to the west, and ultramafic sequence to the east. The shear system at Agamenon is a continuation of the Delta Shear (neighbouring mine).

Overlying the above is a Tertiary Palaeochannel deposit, 8 to 25 metres deep. Supergene enrichment is found in the deeper parts of these channels and extends into the underlying Archaean rocks. One third of the gold found is in the Tertiary sediments, which is unusual for deposits at St Ives.
