Historic location from the 1890's. The source locates this mine as a continuation of the Princess Royal line of reef, 10 kilometres north north-east of Norseman.

GML 650. A shaft had been sunk into kaolin, and found a quartz reef with some gold. The soft ground caused the prospectors much difficulty (cave-ins and safety), and the lease was abandoned.
