The Agnes Venture Reef extended for about 750 metres, crossing the Mount Barker Reef at the Mount Barker Reward lease. The reef contained several mines active in the late 1890's. At the northern end of the reef were a number of small short lived leases from the time, of which not enough information exists to give them a separate entry.

The northern most lease on the reef was the Ironside GML 294. 12 acres. Then heading south, Potluck GML 230 on a large outcrop of very white quartz, a 90 foot deep shaft, and the lease was voided in October 1896.

Next south is the Little Beatrice GML 274, with a shaft to 60 feet, voided October 1896. Then the Arcadia Mine GML 214, abandoned April 1896. The Lady Alice GML 238, had a shaft to 30 feet on its eastern boundary, two shafts in the south-east corner to 35 feet down, on a reef 12 inches wide.

West of the last lease was the Josephine GML 418, and in the north-east corner was a shaft down to 40 feet, and another shaft on the western boundary to 25 feet on a cross-reef.

South of lease 238 was the Surprise mine GML 248, with one shaft to 25 feet down, forfeited September 1896. To the west of this was the Lady Aroyle mine GML 367 with two shafts. South of this was the Little Rachael mine, and this and further mines to the south along the reef were more substantial, and have separate entries.

Coordinates are approximate.
