Detailed Mineral List:

ⓘ Albite
Formula: Na(AlSi3O8)
ⓘ Allanite-(Ce)
Formula: (CaCe)(AlAlFe2+)O[Si2O7][SiO4](OH)
ⓘ Allanite-(Ce) var. Nagatelite
Formula: (CaCe)(AlAlFe2+)O[Si2O7][SiO4](OH)
Description: see https://www.mindat.org/forum.php?read,6,86773,457331#msg-457331 purported P Ka X-ray line in EDS spectrum is actually Y La; The presence of notable Y-enrichment in the allanite-(Ce) is mineralogically likely and also consistent with the ID of accompanying Y-enriched calcite from the same locality. Proof of P-enrichment requires WDS data.
ⓘ 'Allanite Group'
Formula: (A12+REE3+)(M13+M23+M32+)O[Si2O7][SiO4](OH)
ⓘ Aragonite
Formula: CaCO3
ⓘ 'Biotite'
Formula: K(Fe2+/Mg)2(Al/Fe3+/Mg/Ti)([Si/Al/Fe]2Si2O10)(OH/F)2
ⓘ Calcite
Formula: CaCO3
Description: Y-enriched calcite crust in granitic pegmatite fissure.
ⓘ 'Clay minerals'
ⓘ Cristobalite
Formula: SiO2
Habit: Accicular spray
Colour: white
Fluorescence: none seen
Description: Accicular spray of white christobalite in common opal, Mindat photo VCA-23W
ⓘ Epidote
Formula: (CaCa)(AlAlFe3+)O[Si2O7][SiO4](OH)
ⓘ Epidote var. Allanite-Epidote
Formula: {(Ca,REE)2}{Al2Fe3+}(Si2O7)(SiO4)O(OH)
ⓘ Fluorite
Formula: CaF2
ⓘ 'Garnet Group'
Formula: X3Z2(SiO4)3
Description: See photo UTL-87W
ⓘ Goethite
Formula: Fe3+O(OH)
Description: See photos https://www.mindat.org/WAM-R58
ⓘ 'Hornblende Root Name Group'
Formula: ◻Ca2(Z2+4Z3+)(AlSi7O22)(OH,F,Cl)2
ⓘ 'K Feldspar'
ⓘ 'K Feldspar var. Barium-bearing Feldspar'
Formula: (K,Ba)AlSi3O8
Description: See child photo of 5XX-60N for analysis graph
ⓘ Magnetite
Formula: Fe2+Fe3+2O4
ⓘ Microcline
Formula: K(AlSi3O8)
Description: Actual analysis was Barian Microcline but was input as Barian K-Feldspar since Barian Microcline does not exist in the database
ⓘ Opal
Formula: SiO2 · nH2O
ⓘ Opal var. Common Opal
Formula: SiO2 · nH2O
Description: Photos at https://www.mindat.org/WAM-R58
ⓘ Opal var. Opal-AN
Formula: SiO2 · nH2O
ⓘ Quartz
Formula: SiO2
ⓘ Quartz var. Chalcedony
Formula: SiO2
Habit: microscopic
Colour: clear or whitish, often with a color caste from minerals flashing from below the chalcedony layer
Fluorescence: not tested
Description: Clear and/or whitish seams of chalcedony in common opal Doug Schonewald Collection - Mindat photo VCA-23W
ⓘ Siderite
Formula: FeCO3
Habit: acicular (globular) platy looking with individual crystals curved (see photo)
Colour: Yellowish orange
Fluorescence: Not tested
Description: Lustre - sub-vitreous, silky likely weathered surfaces Color - Yellowish orange Streak - white Hardness - > 3 - < 4 presumed about 3.5 Cleavage - not tested (previous breaks appear to have good cleavage but since this is a crystal mass tests on individual crystals was not attempted) Brittle, breaks fairly easily and appears to have an irregular break on individual crystals Solubility - No reaction in cold HCl. Effervesces in hot acid and shows a distinct orange halo around the mineral. Complete dissolution in a few hours with no residue. This specimen was discussed at length in Mindat ID forum. It was believed to be stilbite but the complete dissolution (lack of silica gel residue) and the orangeish 'halo' around the piece as it dissolved (believed to be iron residue) showed this not to be stilbite. That coupled with the dirth of zeolite materials in the Columbia Flood Basalts show this to be siderite.
ⓘ Siderite var. Sphärosiderite
Formula: FeCO3
ⓘ Thorite
Formula: Th(SiO4)
Description: Analysis by Pavel Kartashov
ⓘ Titanite
Formula: CaTi(SiO4)O
ⓘ Titanite var. Grothite
Formula: CaTi(SiO4)O
Description: Analysis performed by Pavel Kartashov
