Located one kilometre north north-east of the Bellevue Gold Mine. The site has seen less intensive mining than Bellevue, and more prone to prospectors.

In the late 1890's the deposit was developed by the Western Australia Venture Syndicate. GML 1238 24 acres. At this stage there are two shafts down to 80 metres on ironstone and quartz veins. A 10 head mill was erected. The deposit was said to have irregular values, and bad management, although the source does not enlighten as to why. The mine and plant is sold in 1908, the money going to owed creditors.

J. and R. Gibson from Wiluna took up the lease in 1920, after the mine had been idle for a number of years. In 1923, W. Maund took up the mine, and leased the state battery just west of the mine to crush ore, and cyanide the sands left behind at the battery. He is noted as owning the mine until his death in 1936.

Resolute Gold Mines NL took out a nine month option on the mine in 1935. A five head battery is noted on the site. It was active into the late 1930's. In 1939, the battery is crushing for local prospectors. James Charles Larkin stood accused of breaking into the battery in the dead of night in 1939, and stealing a quantity of gold bearing sands. The evidence was based on boot marks, and tyre tracks, and being circumstantial he was found not guilty. At this stage both the mine and battery is owned by Noel Francis White. He is still found as owner in 1944, as part of a wages dispute, but beyond this is uncertain.
