The Oaks Mine is 500 metres east of the Pinjin Station homestead. The mine produced 361 tonnes of ore for 242 ounces of gold.

In 1905 it is stated the mine was owned by Williamson and party. GML 796R. 18 acres. The deposit was a pair of small quartz reefs, trending north north-west to south south-east. The quartz veins were iron stained and carried a little pyrite. There is also some scheelite at the mine showing as a yellowish-greenish material. The shaft was down to 60 feet, with much work at shallow levels.
