Noted by South Kal, the company operating mines in the area as a gold prospect, 500 metres west of the Feysville Gold Mine.
It was also a historic mine, first named as Hampton Triumph in 1919. The mine is just south of the old battery site at Feysville. When the rush occurred around the Celebration mine in 1919, some prospectors ventured further afield when all the leases had been pegged. Around the Feysville battery were extensive alluvial workings. Inspections of the dumps showed they had sunk to shallow depths on quartz, but ignored the lode material.
Manning and Eivers cleared out an old shaft on an old alluvial lease they called Hampton Triumph, and discovered a gold bearing lode. The Hampton Triumph Gold Mining Company of Adelaide was formed to acquire an option over the mine, with 50 000 pounds capital. GML 187. Four months later in July 1920, the company reports on development work. Then nothing, and it is assumed the company abandoned the project soon after.
