Barth (1931) mentions the presence of a small feldspar quarry east on the Spindsodden in the old parish of Spind. He calls this locality Egeland. His map is far too inaccurate to be of use in locating this locality. Whether or not this is the same locality as the one Schetelig (1913) refers to, is unkown (see Feldspar Quarry, Spind).

The coordinates are given for approximately where the name Spindsodden appears on the map.
