A gold mine near the headwaters of Swift Creek. The ore occurred in pyritized shear zones near the contact between a small quartz diorite stock and argillaceous sedimentary rocks of the Chilliwack Group. It produced a small amount of ore prior to 1912. Development consisted of many small adits. A small stamp mill was built near the creek and was connected to the mine with a tramway.

Alteration: Pyritization Of Shear Zone

Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc

Deposit: 3 pyritized shear zones 10-30 ft wide, near the contact of a small quartz diorite stock with rocks of the chilliwack group

Deposit type: Polymetallic veins

Development: A stamp mill operated in the early days, and an aerial tramway was extended from the mine to the mill. Gold proved to be sparse and operation was not profitable.

Geology: Small stock crops out near lake ann, north of property.

Rock formation(s): Lake Ann Stock
