Located about 2 kilometres along tracks south south-west of the Old Halls Creek site. The remains of the Lady Broome Gold Mine is passed along the way.

Rason and Webster (surnames) had a one fifth share in the mine, but the others could not be located. (The joys of a remote location, lack of a local dedicated newspaper, and no mining records which were not kept until after 1898, long after the goldfield had been abandoned). The pair had brought rich specimen stone down to be displayed in Perth, collected from the 20 foot level in 1888. The reef was one inch wide at the surface but expanded to 4 feet at the 20 foot level.

The mine produced before 1897, 23 tonnes of ore for 490 ounces of gold.

The main shaft was sunk to 130 feet, on an east-west trending reef. The country rock is dark blue indurated schists striking north north-east. The quartz reef was Fe stained, with considerable quantities of galena. Ore had been stoped from a drive from the 40 to 20 foot levels. Abandoned when inspected in 1903, the mining engineer dismissing the reef as insubstantial.

The present state of the workings is uncertain and needs an on the ground inspection. It appears to be a bulldozed area, or possibly shallow pit that has subsequently been filled in. As with all sites for this goldfield, the more recent information regarding the mine is needed.
