The mine produced 690 tonnes of ore for 29.4 kg of gold before 1897. In 1890, 83 tonnes of ore was extracted for 166 ounces of gold. Between 1938 to 1941 the mine produced 10 tonnes of ore for 0.2 kg of gold. Located to the north of the Ruby Queen No. 3 mine.
7 acres. At the southern end of the lease was a cross leader, dipping south, up to 3 feet wide, and tested by a 70 foot shaft in the late 1880's. This leader increased in size as it headed towards the main reef to the east. Pinches to the west. At the 40 foot level in the shaft, the reef turns to trend north-west to south-east, whilst another 2 foot wide east-west leader cuts the shaft/original reef here. The two join at the bottom of the shaft as a 3 foot mass of stone.
The central shaft was down to 20 feet, on the same leader, but was not as rich in gold.
The northern shaft was closer to the main reef, on an east-west leader. The shaft reached 180 feet, with a level driven 30 feet to the west. The reef was one foot wide, but increases in size to the east towards the main reef, with a well defined northern wall, and no southern wall. The leader was dark blue, Fe stained quartz showing gold freely.
There was also a small shaft on the main reef, down to 10 feet, showing fair gold.
