Probably named after the Darcy's who once owned the Ruby Plains Station. This mine is very remote, and the map is approximate only. The mine produced across 1941 to 1942 79 tonnes of ore at 1.9 kg of gold, with a further 0.5 kg dollied. No other confirmed information could be found, and is needed. Access is difficult, involving taking tracks north-east of the Blue Bar mine, while there appears no tracks within one kilometre of the mine site as listed on maps. Alternatively the same track can be taken south from the Duncan Road near China Wall. Not recommended by anyone other than the very experienced and well prepared. Nothing could be seen on Google Earth and on the ground confirmation is needed.
