Historic lease. One acre. Grants Creek section, 10 kilometres east north-east of the Alice Downs homestead. Located just north-east of the Caledonian lease. Active late 1880's.

A shaft had been sunk down to 55 feet, on a small leader, 2 foot wide at the shaft bottom. The stone was similar to that described for the Caledonian mine, but more Fe stained. Hosted by mica and slate, dipping steeply west. The shaft was in a state of disrepair when inspected in 1891.

The surface contained a patch of alluvial gold, with one tonne crushed for a substantial 134 ounces.
